Khalid No. 2 On Billboard’s Top Tours Chart After Grossing $8 Million On “Roxy” Tour
Khalid’s “Roxy” Tour comes in just after Bruno Mars on the Top Tours Chart.
May marked the bulk of the tour run as he worked through five weeks in 18 different cities throughout the United States and Canada, mainly performing in arenas and amphitheater venues. Such locales included Portland’s Moda Center with 7,974 fans.
The remainder of his run included four separate two-night bookings which included his highest-selling stint in San Francisco’s Bill Graham Civic Auditorium on May 5th and 6th, selling 17,482 seats over both evenings. His highest-selling single engagement would be in Vancouver on May 2nd as he packed out Rogers Arena with 13,470 fans in attendance.
June 7th marked the end of his North American leg in Raleigh, North Carolina at the city’s Red Hat Amphitheater. In total, Khalid sold 158,727 tickets for 23 different concerts.
Elsewhere on the list, you can find Bruno Mars holding onto the top spot with a figure over $48 million for the Asian leg alone on his “24K Magic” tour. Enrique Iglesias closes out the Top 3 after earning just under $6.5 million for six separate shows overseas.
